Nice composition. I'm not sure if it is the back door to Hell or a secret escape hatch from Oz. The colors and textures of the stucco and wood are great. I wonder though if the colors aren't just a tad washed out because of the sun.

Yes I am sure the colors are, but then maybe because of when I took the shot, the sun was brightly shinning directly on the wall.

At first I thought this was a painting but when I full viewed I realized it was a photo. Well done Barb I to am a fan of solitary doors and windows and this one is now one of my favs. It really reminds me of some of the places in Santa Fe N. Mexico, a place that I love to visit often. :heart: :hug: :+fav:

I too love old doors, windows...and sometimes walls, especially stucco, the southwestern kind. It must be sooooooooo nice to visit there!!! :D :hug: :heart:

I love old buildings. We have one or two that date back that far and even further here in my home town but the only trouble is that they get taken too good a care of and they look almost new. :)
