I love to work in many programs...also traditionally...but distally is less messy! There is s great Apophysis group here, will help you alot when you are ready. I have been playing with it for close to 12 years now. I am not one for tutorials...just a hands on approach is my best way to learn. And blender...I have no idea. The closest I came to doing ok, is with Mandelbulb3D. Bryce is a very good 3D program, I think better then blender. I tried once, but my mind does not work in that direction. You have to *see* what you want to build, like in sculpting. I don't...I also usually don't *see* what I want to draw either...just it comes on its own when I start to draw or whatever.
