I rarely missed the show... had a gray T-Shirt that said "Sock it to me" over and over getting gradually smaller at the bottom. Back then couldn't wear T-Shirts to school (couldn't even wear pants and had to "dress up" on Fridays) so wore it on the weekends. It was a hoot. He did really well to live so long and work with his medical issues :nod:

One of my favorite parts.. was the guy on the tricycle with the yellow rain coat, I think it was Arti Johnson...priceless!!! I didn't know he had medical problems...but yes it is great that he did !!!

...I know, but don't feel old... ...I saw yesterday about Kirk Douglas, he is 92 :faint: and he looks fine! ...But I know what you mean, we grow up with our *tv heroes* or so, then they *leave us*... :(

I remember getting sent home from second grade for \"Sock it to me. Mrs Hall, and look it up in your Funk and Wagnalls.\" after being asked to answer a question. (The lady had absolutely no sense of humor.)

I also got sent home in 4th grade for \" It\'s Mrs . Walner!!! Here come da judge, here come da judge. Everyone be quiet cuz here come da judge!\"
